Books, Self-Care, Lifestyle, Interviews

I was a chubby but healthy kid. You have probably observed people whose faces turn Red when they laugh (like a tomato).

Because Childhood & teenage is a stage where we are less or not stressed at all about Life; if we are, we ignore it because keep moving ahead is our ultimate step.

But the last few years were full of ups & down. I have quickly lost weight because of city & hostel life, and I quickly gained it in the last one and a half years (lockdown, & then homemade food). Indian moms serve more when they feel we are not looking fit & strong. Probably I used to eat more when I used to feel stressed, or I used to eat more often as a carefree girl.

As we focus more on career life, we ignore our sitting hours, eyes, and physical & mental health! It happened to me too. Being an engineering student, screen time is a part of your life!

And mainly, when focusing more on Artificial Intelligence, you have to focus more and more on the screen. Also, when you have to type and create content for your lovely readers, it results in fewer breaks for eyes & body and more stress.

So, I hope you can understand how unhealthy habits we develop or we start sacrificing our health for careers.

It was last month, and I decided to stay fit. And you know what? I am working on it. I focused on Changing my diet foods eating habits & trying to stick to my sleeping routine. And I got this book: The New Me. And here I would like to share its review with you guys!

Book Title: The New Me - A guidebook to perfect health
Author: Gagan Dhawan
Pages: 80

Book Review!

This book is so much insightful and packed in 80 pages. The value & knowledge is simple & short, still overflowing. What I would like to say is Fewer words - more sense!

One day, the Author realized that he now had to take medications. And when he realized if he started taking them, there would be no going back, He was concerned, serious & more active about his health.

He took 90 days of challenges, and he found that after 90 days, he is fit & fine according to all medical tests, and he doesn't need medications now.

So, in this book, he has shared how to set up this three months challenge, what we have to do, what not, eating habits, food, diets, minor things like sleeping habits & drinking water, etc. And much more.

So I required this book, so I am not saying how insightful this is as a book lover. I am sharing how much value it is, according to a person who is now on her health-fitness Journey! I hope to share some behind the scenes about my fitness Journey soon!

Recommended To: those who are trying to take their physical health seriously.

Well, if you are someone, who is more & more practical, & does not love the book, let us take a 90 days challenge to fit ourselves!

Have you ever read books that are based in a future time? Like which predicts what is going to happen in the upcoming years. If yes, you might find this post exciting. But if not, then it is beautiful. And you can try this post for the reading taste.

Features and details of the book!
Book Title: 2034
Author Name: Bruno Beaches
Format: Kindle, Paperback

Book 2034 by Bruno Beaches

Book Review by Monika

In the narration of the story, there is another narrator. Samantha - the Queen of storytelling, who is in her mid-40s. She was a teacher in her young days. Almost the whole society, the people who have been living there for nearly ten years now, trust each other because of the shared hardship and much more. It is the evening time & she is going to tell a story to the kids, as the parents of these kids believe in the integrity of Samantha.

This story is set in the future time, and it is about 2034. 2034 means the year 2034, 12 years ahead of 2022. Including the description of mid-years. Like 2023, 2024, and 2034. It also describes what happened in the quarantine, situations of humans & society, unwanted chemical effects, the sudden changes it brought, etc.

This story is full of suspense, mystery, and unbelievable worries, describing how artificial food is now a vital need and why it is essential to maintain social distancing. There are driverless vehicles and destruction. Human life is now dependent on chemicals to save itself from chemicals. They are now in a cage, but they can do whatever they want inside it. What an irony life plays. Is it not?

Secure zones are created so that people can save their lives. No additional help of extra & essential facilities is there. People are trying to build other communities in the woods and wild, and much more is there.

The story of this book revolves around the destruction, how natural life is adversely affected, and how the life of several human beings is in danger.

21 Best Lifehacks by Monika Singh - Download Now

What I like: I appreciate the author's efforts in the narration style, for imagination, and how wonderfully he crafted the story of destruction in 2034.

Triggered Emotions: I would not like to say anything about the story plot because deep involvement can affect someone badly. Like, if you are already depressed or cannot stand up to the stories of vast destruction, I can not recommend you this. But this does not mean that you can not read it. Thanks for understanding!

Recommended: If you like thrillers or mysteries related to destruction, you can go for it.

If you love it, feel free to share it with those who love to read mystery & thriller stories. Thank you for stopping by! Let me know something interesting you have found in this blog post in the comments.

Book Title: The Curse of Kukkutarma

Author: Prateep Roy

Genre: Science fiction + Mythology

Book Review

The Curse of Kukkutarma

The story starts with - punishing the students of class 10th by a harsh nature teacher. The reason behind punishment is - Someone splits the ink on the Shirt of a simple & humble teacher. But such brutal punishment was prohibited in the school.

The school principal was passing nearby, and he observed the teacher punishing the Kid. He asked him to stop it.

Later, Principal Mr. Brown asked the little boy about his introduction. He introduced himself as Opamanyu Sen. His mother called him Opu with Love. He is from 6th standard, but he was in the 10th class, as he was aware of what teachers were teaching in 6th standard.

When he visited his home, her mother Observed his hand was severely hurt, and she asked him about the reasons. His father, Mr. Dwarkanath, was a trustee of that school. And he said to stop funding the school.

Suddenly, Mr. Father Brown visited their home and informed his Dad that they had suspended that teacher for such Karma. Along with it, he told his parents that their son was Prodigy. He has extraordinary skills. His mind is sharp and ahead of the children of his age.

How Emotion People and Success fooled you by Monika Singh

The discussion continued, and he asked them to reflect on his studies and take suggestions from Jagdish Chandra Bose (1st Indian Scientist who got a Patent).

Later, he was sent to London for his education. His father now has high expectations like miracles from his son, as everyone in the surrounding was saying he is brilliant & extraordinary.

During that year, World War 1 broke out, affecting many things.

Though, Opu met Isla and his brother and tried to execute his ideas and plans with them. This is how they were able to start the preparation of Atityan (a project for a spacecraft model). And all three were lost in the project deeply.

This book has a blend of history, mythology, and science fiction, hand in hand. The story plot is based in the 1900s and revolves around the prodigy kid Opu and his brilliance about interest in Time traveling.

His dream of inventing the time machine, which can help him to travel back in the past and meet the Bhisma of Mahabharata, and why he died, even when he was blessed by boon.

This led him to take his ideas and interest seriously.

My take on Narration:

The Narration could have been more smooth if a lot of details (explanation of ancient history details) could have been provided at the end, instead of starting and in mid of the chapters.

Along with it, as the book is fiction, there is not a more significant role of research done by the Author. However, it's doing great on the research-based part.

What I Like: I like the theme line & blend of history and mythology, along with the prodigy of Opu.

Recommended: If you like books based on science fiction + Mythology, you may also like this one.

How complicated yet powerful Love can be in relationships; we can observe it in our daily life and the things near us.

Book: Love Science — Psychology of attraction!
Author: Surajit Roy
Publisher: Notion Press
Pages: 100+

Book Review:

There are different stages of love, classified based on our life Journey.
Childhood, Teenage, Young age, and Old age.

In childhood, we are emotionally attached to our Parents, Siblings, or someone who cares about us a lot.

In our teenage, we experience — friends' love, feel infatuated or create stories about crushes in our head, which are most of the time one-sided or in our imaginations.

It is not the fault of teenagers. Books & movies make us like this.

As we move towards young age, there are two important factors:
1. Lust and 2. Companionship.

Though 2 people are never alike & for more than 90% of people look seriously matter. They are influenced by Physical attraction, lust, sex, beauty, and much more. That is why we can observe that a lot of Indian arrange marriages are painful. And in love marriages, love disappears after 3-4 months or 1-2 years.

If you are driven by companionship (rare people), then in such cases, Emotions, intimacy, Strong bond, Communication, Commitment, etc., matters a lot.

My take on Book Narration
It is doing great on the Philosophical part & research-based interest. Along with it, it is also creating confusion and controversies too; as we all know, love is different and varies from individual to individual.

Also, the song's lyrics bring two contexts. One is entertainment when we are in the mood for enjoyment & another is feeling, understanding, and pain when we are feeling low.

The cover of the book expresses it clearly. Love is not like our imaginations or attractive & smooth like fantasies in romance novels or movies. It is complicated, messy, and hard to connect and keep all the dots in 1 thread. It seriously needs care and proper balance.

Suggestions for Author:
The narration needs to be more smooth after half book & before the last quarter. This book needs one more revision for proper flow.

How did I feel while reading this?
It is really hard to digest a lot of opinions and facts without questioning. So, if we do not try to relate things to our real life and surrounding, the stuff of romance fiction/ Bollywood movies will keep empowering our beliefs.

But the reality is: Love is one thing, and relationship is another. Love is free & form of freedom.  Relationships come with partnership & love.

How can this book be helpful for you?
Benefits: It can help you to understand how to pick up the right life partner without many compromises and to force your beliefs.

Recommended To: Those people looking forward to understanding what actual Relationships and Love are in real life. I can not recommend this book to — beginners and hopeless romantic people empowered by escaping reality.

I will share tips, factors, & more things in upcoming posts!

Share with someone who is new in Relationships or is dating someone or wants to date.

The hunger to do more & to be more should always drive you, no matter how big you become.

Book Title: Shuttler's Flick - Making every match count
Pullela Gopichand with Priya Kumar
Author: Priya Kumar

This book is about Gopi Sir's philosophy of life and about winning. It can inspire you to lift yourself in challenging times when you don't need anyone to console & lift you.

Shuttler's Flick: Pullela Gopichand with Priya Kumar

Book Review

This story is inspired by actual life incidents and more than that, and it is based on the life Journey of Gopi (Badminton player and coach).

He decided to keep playing when he felt the twist in his leg at an awkward angle. And the second fall detached his knee and ankle. People thought it was the end of his career.

The sad part of life is - When you fall, No one waits for you to come back or supports you. People move ahead without you or even thinking about you.

This story describes the theme on which the book is based. Later, why you should give your attention to this story.
(Of course, there is a big reason. Big injury, falling of career, passion, fire, grit, mental toughness, and much more to bring the life of a champion to even normal one). And then his establishments, achievements, coaching, the success of students, and much more. The rest is history.

The narration style is fantastic. The words create and ignite the fire in the heart and mind. No, it's not about motivation. But they kindle the fire of passion—a fire to give a proper direction to your mindset, passion, purpose, dreams, and goals.

21 Best Lifehacks by Monika Singh

There is a small picture album about some of the emotional and significant achievements of Gopi & his life. Marriage, accomplishments, academy, his students' achievements, etc.) It creates a more personal touch & the book story connects like we feel connected to video movies.

Each chapter ends with highlights of Your Serve and Your Solitude, your truth. Giving it a more simple touch and credibility.

I will keep talking about the insights in the upcoming days. They are so amazing you would like to highlight almost every second or third passage.

I have read four books by Priya Kumar. And whenever I read a new book she wrote, I feel amazed & a Stronger connection with her voice. And yet surprised by how she manages to write and give the proper flow in narration.

What I like: Narration style, importance, the story, the spark of passion, and much more. I don't know if we can observe a movie or series about the same.

Recommended: I would like to recommend this book to every individual who feels that their career is ended or their dreams & goals are shattered despite of being so many skills, higher education, capability, and much more.

Thanks to Priya Kumar for this beautiful book & Amazing Story!

I want to ask you to propose this book for your Passion and give it a space in your bookshelf, mind, and life!

Against Time & Destiny

Book Review

This story breaks with the conversation between Pihu & Rhimjhim (her cow) in the hills & forests. Pihu and Samarth are the main characters of the story.

Pihu is a 22-year-old girl who lost touch with her Baba (father). Eight years ago, he said unfinished goodbye to them. He used to talk on phone calls on weekends with his family. It was limited to once a month & then disappeared in the last six years. Since then, Pihu has wandered in the green lands with her Rhimjhim. She takes her to several places to explore the world, Adventure & dangers.

Pihu and her family were shocked to hear that She was announced as the nominee for a 50 lakh INR property of her father. And Samarth visited here for project purposes.

In the journey of verifying documents, they are facing & observing the bad side of each other for the wrong reasons.

21 Best Lifehacks by Monika Singh

Pihu is hard-working, but she is from a poor background. It reminds Samarth of his childhood days, which connects them. He likes the nurturing quality in her.

Samarth is a Rich boy, and he does not know how to have empathy or nurture. Instead, he loves to break.

He convinced Pihu that he would help her to search for her disappeared father. She ended up observing at least something good in him.

The story is about trying to tie a knot between 2 people who are opposite.

She has fallen in love and shared her world with him. Unfortunately, something happened! Probably every girl is afraid of it.

She is amazed to see another side of Samarth. He was in despair, broken because of his past life & wounds.

She was helping him to heal slowly. He was breaking her in return. He was shattering her faith, love, & eventually, their relationship.

One day, they were separated by destiny. She was feeling betrayed! The man she was trying to love broke her. Her heart is now full of hate.

What happened that night?
What is the climax of the story?
Are they seeking revenge, or can they mend their relationship again?

You can read the book to learn more about the story and what happened next!

What I like:
The narration is smooth. It is based on some ground facts related to the culture of Indian families and the difference between rich & poor backgrounds. Along with it, the story's theme is connected well, and the flow gives a feel of the movie running in mind.

Recommended: Though I am a girl who has never fallen in love. I believe more in reality & real life. And I do not want to niche it down to limited people just because of the point that I have never experienced such incidences. However, I can not recommend it to hopeless romantic people who are too crazy or possessive about love.

Four men wanted to kill Avni, the Queen, for 4 different purposes with 4 different plans.

Book Review

This book is a blend of Mythology, Thriller & crime fiction history timeline with suspense.

It starts with a breathless & fainting girl struggling to reach out for the breath inhaler.

It is moving forward with the investigation by an Author & officer. They are trying to take it fast forwardly. Later involvement of NWC organization staff, especially Naina, changes its direction. Naina scared them to solve it quickly.

Avni, the Queen of Goner (a region in Rajasthan), died mysteriously in a room of Kuldevi temple. She was killed on the first night of becoming Queen of Goner & owner of Kuldevi temple.
But why & how?

So, people investigating are trying their best to explore helpers and people connected with her, property & Kuldevi temple. They learned about a secret that people were hiding & trying to protect, which was also a reason for several life losses.

They found clues and connections and solved it & still, but it was unresolved till last.
What a surprising story!

There are so many characters, but it still elaborates nicely. It is written with excellent mystery, surprise & unpredictable plots. The narration is a little tricky to understand & correlate.

Beautiful Insights!

Centuries have passed, & now it is tough to believe, but the rumor back then was that the belongings which were moved also consisted of some secret, which the royal family was protecting.

Kids born on Friday are extroverts by nature. They love meeting people, they love going out, and they excel if they work or study in less cluttered places. What do you think?

It is a long story.
They started dating soon after.
They do have a positive vibe around them.
They are different but work so well together.

I always believe that sometimes it would take a long, but it is better to wait than pick the wrong one.

People don't strictly follow what doctors tell them; they still trust their knowledge and God's will.
And what if I say that 90% of the deaths are of female infants?
This is the town of Kuldevi, Shakti, which blesses parents with male babies.

Your faith in “her royalty” means nothing if you can't help her even after her demise, he said.

What puzzle was she trying to solve?
I don't get it.
The decor in her room doesn't fit with the theme of the haveli. This is different.

People stick to their beliefs more strongly than their moral code. But I see you happy, which means you succeeded.

It is a surprising story. If you have ever watched a CID TV show, it might be easy to relate.

Recommended:

If you like History, mythology, thrillers, crime fiction, CID, etc., and story plots, you can go for it.

Book Name: ROSE
Genre: Murder, Thriller, Mystery
Pages: 350+

Book Review by Monika Singh

This story is about Rose! As the name suggests, Rose is a small sweet girl who is soft and innocent, like the petals of Rose in childhood, and hard & strong enough like thrones in her teenage!

The story runs parallel about 4 couples. The grandparents of Rose and the parents of Rose are described in such a beautiful manner. Their love is depicted so beautifully. The story & plots say it out loud, how deep the love is among them till the last breath.

One-third of the story is mysterious, beautiful, delicate, and full of suspense, with a chill thrill. It gets the pace when Rose is stolen by her uncle and handed over to another couple. She was given a drug dose to erase her memory before doing so.
When she gained consciousness, she was given a new name and introduced to new parents. Her new mother thought they'd adopted her, but her husband was still hiding from her that she was kidnapped & drug dosed.
She got a new identity of Angelical. However, their maid Preeti used to treat her like her own daughter. This new couple was quite kind & generous towards ROSE.

Peter - the father of Rose, was consistently putting effort into finding her. Many sudden, unexpected things happened before & after Rose was handed over to her new parents.
Time flew away, and Rose's biological Mom passed away, leaving a letter for her in hopes that one day Peter would be able to find out about their daughter.

Nine years old Rose is now almost 17-18 years old Angelica. She is not able to recognize Peter. Meanwhile, she finds him a creepy guy when he tries it, whether her daughter can identify him and they can take her back home.

The story takes several turns and moves towards investigation, thrill, murder, and more.
What happens next?
Will she regain her memory?
Will Peter be able to take her daughter home?
You can grab the book to learn more!
Also, if you love slow-paced thrillers full of suspense, you can go for it.

Triggered Emotions: Betrayal, Crime, Kidnapping, Rape, Murder, sexual arousal, etc.
So I can't recommend this book to you if some of/ all emotions like these can trigger you, especially when you are habitual of reading and feeling books like me.

The book is newly released, and I want to thank the Author for sending me the manuscript of this book before launching.

It took me almost 30 days to read it slowly by reflecting on the well-developed characters. At every unexpected twist, there is so much to learn, especially when we take a pause & reflect on the behavior and how people play in life. Also, at that time, there were 450+ pages, and I hope extra fluff has been eliminated now. I love this story's plot. I couldn't stop writing this long and detailed review.

I would like to give it 4.5/5⭐

Merry Christmas! My dear Readers!
On this occasion, here is a Book Review of a unique story to lighten your mood.

Book Title: The different bride
Author: Charu Singh
Genre: Contemporary Romance

Book Review

This story revolves around Prakash and Chandrika (the story's main characters). It is about a sweet friendship & love story! Seems like based on ground facts.
Because I do not believe in love at first sight, this story is quite different with emotions, love, career, honesty & not just love. It is not love a first sight, story though!

Prakash confessed to Chandrika about the mentality of his mother before taking the relationship seriously! She thought it was an excuse to move on but was later convinced by Prakash to keep things clear beforehand.

Because it is about that time when love & love marriages were so rare, landline phones might be rare nowadays. Based that time, where phone calls were quite costly, and people used to send emails for conversations. This story started somehow in this same manner. I love at first call fantastic conversation!

What I like:
Simple, smooth, and intriguing narration. The feeling of happiness, uniqueness & satisfaction after lots of struggle everywhere.

Beautiful Synopsis and Insights from this Book

I could still feel her innocence, honesty, and the pleasant smell of her plush body in the air around me. I felt something for the first time: being wanted in someone’s life. In the office and at home, I was tired of being my best and yet being shunned. That day, at that very moment, someone valued me so much. It gave me a high like never before. I had never felt so desired in my life.

“Oh, my God! So, you have been lying to me? That’s like taking the entire feel away.” “I’m sorry, dear, but I wanted to create an impression, and the feelings, of course, were mine. I explained to her what to write.” “Uff!” I said, hitting my palm on the forehead and laughing, unlike my usual reaction on learning that someone lied. “You shouldn’t have done that.” “What difference does it make? You write quite well, I have seen.” “Mine was all original; no help from anywhere. I often help others draft their written content.”

People will always have a formula for everything, but believe me, these formulas squeeze you and put you into a box. Learn to breathe outside the box because that is where life begins. It’s your life, your journey, and its uniqueness that make it so much unique.

What is the end of the story?
You can grab the book to read it.

Recommended: Not my primary genre, so I would not like to narrow it down to limited people! If you feel intrigued and still reading up to these words, you know you might like this story!

The story of Indian mythology is quite popular among those who believe in God or who have a keen interest in Mythology creatures. So, today you will read a book review of an Indian mythology book.

Book Title: The Wielder Of The Trishul: Deva-Asura Katha - Book-1
Author: Satyam

Before moving ahead, let me tell you that conveying Mythological stories is an art, and Author has played a remarkable role in describing it in the best possible way!

I picked up this book before the Diwali festival, read a few chapters, and kept it aside because of the fest. The excitement of the fest is not yet over, so it's pretty exciting as there are so many compelling short stories, characters & regions in this story! This book is categorized into three parts, with approx 47 chapters, each having a short conversational story.

Breaking out from the childhood of Dhruva and the hurting behavior of his stepmother towards him, Dhruva made some huge decisions to create something on his own & left the Kingdom for his brother Uttama. He was so engrossed in meditation that it was not even broken when Lord Vishnu appeared. Dhruva even forgot the behind his 'Tapasya.' He later established Dhruva Lok! As he wanted to be in touch if God all the time.

So, let us move ahead with a few heart-touching love stories of those days!
They say love is not more accessible. People have to put a lot of effort into making it successful. It is true! Not from the past few years, but from Ancient history too!
The story expands with more characters and regions, conversations between the regional King-Queen, & their essential people. Few conversations are heart-touching.

So, let us move toward the climax. It is basically about the war between two mighty princes! Indra (King of Gods) & Vritra (The Mightiest Asurs) for the Trishul of Lord Shiva (an Avatar of Lord Vishnu).
It revolves around Justice, love, and responsibilities. But who is the winner?
Who is the wielder of the Trishul? What the story has to say!

What I like: Interesting story narration. It is mysterious, revealing some Wilder side of Royal families, the compelling character of Aindrita, and much more.

Few Beautiful lines from Book:
We are the artist. Karma is our brush, and life is the art.
She may not be a princess, but she is more graceful than many.
Creation and destruction are a cycle that goes on and on.
The beginning could be the end, or the future could be a beginning - that depends on perspective.
Sometimes not knowing is better than knowing.
You will be the only one in my life the way one sun shines in the sky.

Recommended To: People who have a keen interest in Indian Mythology stories. If you love to read about them or love such Shows, it is totally for you!

How would you like to define the word, Love?
Also, what is the meaning of true friendship for you?

In this article, you will read a review of a heart-touching story.
Book Review!
Book Title: Are you the one? Friend or Love
Author: Himanshi Jain

This story starts like your story-
Waking up late, getting ready quickly, sleepless night, and then rushing to the office! (Like you do to your school or college when you wake up at 8:30 AM). It revolves around Avanee and her friends Tanya, Rishit & Rohan. Avanee is the main character of the story. She is a shy, introverted girl. They are office Friends, working in the same environment. The story moves by describing their bond to office work and new characters too.

Tanya persuades Avanee to speak to Rishit. That man and probably every other girl in the office was trying to gain his attention except Avanee! Being an introverted and sensitive girl, I can feel her when she was uncomfortable with being extra Friendly with him and ended up avoiding him. The story takes a twist and turns into the past life of Avanee. How was she passionate about dance? How did she meet her boyfriend?

There are lots of sudden twists! How her life changed after winning a reality show! How does this charming girl go through a journey of having a boyfriend to minimal friends?
(Any idea? If you have gone through such phases, please share them in the comments. Though my Instagram DMs are already overflowing from the last few days.)

You may also like: Books to read for a better life

She feels attached to her secret love! But throughout the journey, she is so confused about who is just her friend & who is her true love! (Dwelling in Past & Present)

What I like about this story:
The beautifully narrated story is straightforward in language. The journey from working together to a bit of jealousy, confusion state, and can love happens twice... It all kept me hooked! It just reminds me about -("Kuch toh h Jo..." this song).

Recommended To: Everyone! Who is feeling confused in relationships
Enjoy it.

Do you love Suspense stories full of conspiracy and struggle? Then probably this one is for you.

Book Title: Not Without Your Love

Author: Arvind Parashar

Before picking up this book, I was unaware that the author had written 23 books. And when you start reading the work of an experienced author, expectations are probably higher from the story.

This story starts with Noosh describing her light sleeping habits in the noisy city. Though she is pregnant, she is living alone & hoping to meet his love soon.

Noosh & Kabir are the main characters of the story. Kabir is a journalist & photographer. Kabir is from Bombay & Noosh is from Afghanistan. They studied in the same College in Moscow, where they met. Noosh has returned to her hometown Herat, Afghanistan.

Kabir visits Afghanistan to work on a secret mission. Afghanistan is the center point of the whole story. After a few days, Afghanistan brought conspiracy for Kabir, but how?

What I like:

What won my heart, as I always say & strongly believe - 'Friendships that are built-in hard times last forever.

Now I don't know. I give credit to the author for this Statement or to myself. You might be aware if you've been connected with me for a long time—an incredible coincidence.

Though I don't believe more in love stories because there is betrayal and manipulation at every stage, people nowadays consider that the most significant victory is getting married. But the actual struggle probably starts after it. But this story is something whose ending can satisfy your soul.

What I dislike:

Politics! Though I've no interest in the things which always disturb me. And when you're a person who is habitual of feeling words, it directly hit the head & of course, a little disturbing too.

Though we should not judge things at first sight, I've picked this one by considering it a love story, but it's more about politics, struggles & betrayal.

The book cover and title can be more relevant to the story, as this doesn't seem fit.

I feel It was not an easy read for me. If you are comfortable feeling such triggered emotions (separation, betrayal, politics) in the journey of long-lasting love; you can go for it.

Recommended For: Thriller lovers who are comfortable with politics.

Have you ever felt that why people don't try to understand you?

When we hurt, we feel - only we're one, buried under sorrows & problems.
When we want to run away from problems, we forget to heal ourselves.
Get up and look around you. Be a keen observer & good listener! You'll realize that you're not the only one.

In this blog post, you're going to know more about the book: My 2nd Girlfriend by Kailash Rajpurohit

Why did I pick this book?
The story seems so realistic & relatable to me. Of course, I've never been in a relationship. But we can't change a few things in our life.
Either it's the habit of blind love in relationships, extra caring nature, fulfilling dreams & more.
I found it relevant because of taking extra care & fulfilling my dreams.
But maturity hit us so hard. It teaches us to live in silence.
If you want to live your life happily, don't let everyone know that - you have a caring heart.
Learn to treat people similarly - they treat you! But with common sense, too, don't react quickly without even knowing what's happening around you.

Book Review: My 2nd Girlfriend

When I was reading this book, thoughts in my mind & emotions in my heart were floating like a tsunami.

This book is about the story of Kailash, breaking out from his childhood to his teenage & then suddenly becoming a mature teen who was trying to clear the exam of this real life, trying to fulfill his responsibilities towards his parents & younger sister.
As he was not educated enough, & under 18 too, so he was struggling to find out work - not only to earn, but he wanted to help his parents.

During the hard & struggling time ( whether it's about finance or emotions ), every small help seems like a big favor. After gaining experience from his first work, he has learned to take risks in life. He entered into an entrepreneurship journey & set up his own company with few friends. Meanwhile, when trying to scale it up, he incidentally met with a girl named Riya. She entered his professional life as a client and later in his personal life as a girlfriend. And finally, she was essential to him, so she got a 50% partnership in his company too.

This relationship started moving towards a love marriage. It wasn't easy, but they finally got married. But, this marriage failed soon.
Because when we love someone, we forget to observe their real intentions. We only follow the things we want, like the Bollywood style.

Someone has rightly said, to live a happy life, you need a compatible, caring, understanding partner & not blind love.
You can't create a home with immaturity, where people have more ego problems & grudges in their hearts, where people are not ready to accept your family.

The same happened here, & this marriage failed. It breaks down Kailash. He struggled a lot and faced rough phases & finally, he planned to heal himself.
On the journey to new life, he met his 2nd girlfriend. What happened next?
What's the ending of the story?
Was it successful or not?

What I like :
Simplicity of narration
I wonder how someone can portray hidden pain in the heart so wonderfully.
Well, it was like a healing story for me.

Recommended: If you are someone who has ever felt love, either it first or second, go for it. If you've ever faced heart breakups, it doesn't matter what the reason is; go for it.

No more, no less is the story of friendship & love, respectively. It starts with the story of 3 friends: Pari, Riya & Avinash.
Their squad is more like a group of crazy friends, who tease each other often, but also care like siblings.

Pari is an intelligent, mischievous & shy girl who wants to be self-dependent.
Riya had lost her parents in a car accident. Pari treats her in a way that she never feels alone & shallow.
Avinash is that boy who is surrounded by lots of girls because of his looks.

I can relate to the character Pari in terms of thinking & behavior. Meanwhile, I can resemble Riya in terms of not showing the pain & living life like let's enjoy it fully.

At a party, Pari & Sameer met for 1st time via Avinash. And their love story begins from there.
It reminds me of that song from the 3 Idiots movie ( Jaisa film on me... )
Wait, I don't want to give spoilers, especially about the main storyline. So, If you want to know how a meeting started budding into love & what's the ending, grab the book & enjoy!

What I like:
The way of storytelling. It touches reality & imagination at the same time
What I dislike:
I wish words like umm, aww, etc., were less frequent. Else, it's a nice story.
#Recommended: If you like fictional content, fantasy, or a love story, then it's for you.

success mantra, Rakhi Kapoor

Failure, Success, dreams, never giving up, heart breakups, & many more words probably seem heavy. People have a negative perception of these words. Because they often observe only the most popular side.

But what if we replace these words with a few more light words such as mistakes, fouls, inappropriate results, etc.?
i.e., Typos are common while typing.
Fouls are average in games.

Everyone has to face these things & it is normal. Age is just a number when it is about experiences & mistakes.
A person at the age of 25 is still like a baby for a person of the age of 40-50. And elders can learn from younger ones.

What I like :
1. Simple language.
2. Real advice & guidance with examples.
3. The engaging way of storytelling.
4. The portrait of the accurate picture of real life.

Recommended: For everyone. Especially for those who wanna read something for solutions & real learnings.

This is the 7th book that I have read & now I want to cover every book written by her.
So, do not forget to add this book to your wishlist. You will be glad to find a helpful mentor through this book.
But read it slowly & enjoy the learnings!

Staying Strong: 365 days a year
Author:- Demi Lovato

𝗡𝗼𝘄, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘁, 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 !!
This book is dedicated to those people who want to live ordinary or extraordinary life.
When it's about normal life, it's about a balanced life. A balance of emotions, heart, mind, decisions, situation handling, courage, dealing with reality & many more.

When can you read this book?
Whenever you feel low, weak, heartbreak, depressed, stressed, hopeless;
( When you want to:- escape reality, live in a fantasy world, and understand real life! )

What I like in this book :
The way of representation. i.e.:-
( Problem - Solution - Example - Goal ).
Straight-forward solutions, with the help of small examples.
It's not like other books, where you've to read lots of extra stuff for a particular solution.
It's like summarized content! Yet powerful enough to explain the whole saga.

Highly recommended: for both fictional & non-fictional lovers.

Rebelina - A walk into the lives of women

This is 6th book I have read from Rakhi Kapoor's books. God knows how she manages to write amazingly.

This book is dedicated to a woman, who dares to live her life, on her terms and conditions.
It consists of different stories, different emotions, and different lessons!
Stories are contemporary and fictional, but feelings & lessons are real.

Life is not smooth, whether a girl is:
Rich or Poor, Shy or not, Fit or Fat, Married or Unmarried.

They are similar to you, who are considered weak by people.
Still, those who refuse to give up so soon build themselves again.
This book is dedicated to every girl or woman who is strong enough to fight for herself.

Few beautiful lines :
Not all losses in life happen to death.
Every kind of loss of a person in life is heartbreaking and traumatizing.
Break up, break down, but build yourself up again.

What I like :
I like her writing style, especially the simple language and important messages blended with actual feelings, way of storytelling, and most importantly, reality.

Recommended: To everyone

Please share it with girls and let them know; they are not lonely in the rebellion of living an ordinary or extraordinary life.

If you are a boy reading this, let us try to understand your sister, mother, wife, friend, or lover; in a better way.
It's not about feminism!

Do you believe in Spiritual powers or Spirituality?

Or, do you love to read mythologies, then you are at the right place.

In this article, you may learn more about Indian mythologies, the hidden powers, and many more.

So here you will read about the brief book summary and review of the book - The Battle of Panchavati and other stories from Indian Scriptures.

Hence, please read it carefully!

About the book: The battle of Panchavati and other stories from Indian Scriptures.

This book consists of seven ( 7 ) stories revolving around our Indian history and Mythology.

The short insights into the stories are given as the following:-

1. The Cosmic Dance: The story of Yogi Shiva and Sati, where Shiva is angry by the loss of Sati and how Hari saves lives by calming down the Mahan Yogi Shiva.

This story is about the regret Sati when she visits the region, which Yogi Shiva strictly denied.

2. The Eighth Son: This story is about Vasudev and Devaki and their eighth son.

You might be aware that he is worshipped as the God of Hindus. He was the eighth son of Vasudev and Devaki. The story plot revolves around the cruelty of Kanas, who was the son of Ugarsen and the brother of Devaki. He was in power because of Jrasandh, his father-in-law. Because of him, he threw out his father ( Ugarsen ) from the Power of the kingdom.

The plot is beautifully captured, explaining the scenes of exchanging newborns Krishna and Maya, the Yamuna River, and many more miracles.

The girl Maya was a child of Nand and Yashodha, who were inhabitants of Gokul.

3. The Battle of Panchavati: This plot concerns the fight between the humans and Rakshasas.

The battle started because of Surpankha, who was jealous of Sita.

Do you know who Surpankha was?

This plot concerns the battle-fight scenes between the Khar, Dushan, and Ram, Laxman how the Rakshasha brothers underestimate the power of two human brothers.

4. The Killing of Keechak: This story is about Pandavas and their Aagyat vas time!

Where they disguise themselves under different identities, Keechak was the brother of the Queen, in whose kingdom; Pandavas were hidden under various identities and working skills.

Why was he killed, and by whom?

Are you aware of the guavas time? Who were Pandavas?

Grab the book to check out the whole story if you are unaware.

5. Gangadhar: As the name suggests, this story is about Gangadhar, Mahadev, who tamed the mighty river Ganga by trapping her with his locks.

Do you know the reason behind the landing of Ganga from heaven to earth?

Who brought Ganga to the earth

What was the main reason for landing the Ganga from heaven to the earth?

This Ganga is the same river known as the holy river of Hindus and is considered the central part of worship and many rituals.

6. The Curse of Draupadi: based on the curse given by Draupadi when she was humiliated by the whole assembly of people who can not be known by the name of humans ( Those People who Draupadi cursed at that time )

Do you know who Draupadi was?

Do you know the reason behind Mahabharata?

Do you know the reason behind the curse given by Draupadi?

7. Gautam: This story is about Siddharth Gautam, the mahatma buddha! How was a child turned into the great mahatma?

Have you heard the name, Siddharth Gautam? Who was the Prince? But he decided to leave his life as a prince, with power and wealth, but why?

My review of the book: The battle of Panchavati and other stories from Indian Scriptures.

The things I like about this book are

(Pros) :

1. This book gives the feeling of the historical lifestyle, power of people, cruelty, and humanity of Kings or people in power.

2. It is necessary to remind from time to time what and who has contributed to People's lives, which imprints we can feel by today, too, up to a greater extent!

3. It also gives a feeling of spirituality.

4. No matter what, few things can't be erased from human minds, and a great example of it is the stories mentioned in this book.

The things I dislike about the book are

( Con's ) :

1. Sometimes, it is difficult to identify the exact story, and this gives rises to conflict, as it is not an original piece of work of history. It is taken from the Vedas and Puranas, written several thousand years ago.

2. "Ram clenched his teeth, his temper rising!" This line is raising the conflict here! As far as I know, Ram is considered a man of peace who is very calm!

Recommended for: those who love mythologies, our Indian culture and history, and who believe in spirituality.
