Imagine you get trapped in the vampires! How will your life be turned?

Book Review of the book - Beauty And The Vampires

Book Title: Beauty And The Vampires: One Girl Holds The Future Of the Blood Empire

Author: Sukriti Jaswal

Book Review by Monika Singh

Set in the 18th century, this book is an intriguing story about vampires and human interaction.

Two kings, Damian and Nicholas, who are Vampires, have their share of fights and search to gain power via the search for Elixir.

Mia is a 17-year-old girl who works in the bakery shop of her Aunt. One day she was attacked by 2 vampires and the bakery shop was set to fire. Before more damage, Vampires Nicholas saved Mia.

For a living, she started working in the human slave pet shop, where humans were kept behind bars so Vampires could buy and feed on them.

One day, a Vampire visited the shop and kept an offer in front of Mia.

Mia, the human cook, was taken to the castle of Vampires to prepare delicious food for them.

Soon, she got her room & special treatment from the kingdom people, King Damian & his brother Nicholas & Sister Eugene.

Her younger step-sister, 7-year-old Alice, was also invited to the Vampire Castle and given a separate room by Nicholas.

One day, Mia reached Gabe’s room to meet Lucinda, whom she knew from the pet shop. Gabe was overpowered by Vampire blood lust. He grabbed Mia to suck her blood. But she was saved by the King Vampire.

Mia was curious to wander into the Vampire castle. One day she reached the Mystic Woods, where she met the wise women Cassandra, and 2 others.

Cassandra predicted Mia is the protector of Elixir. Mia was in disbelief. She got a book in the Library that has a story about Mystic Woods and Elixir. Since then, Mia has been curious to know more about it. She started asking the royals of the Vampire’s Kingdom in her way.

She realized how even Kings have to compromise with their loneliness despite having so much crowd in the surroundings!

She visited the Mystic woods again to learn more about Elixir, and King Damian caught her there.

A romance between a human and a Vampire happens through kisses.

The story turns towards the fight between two kings, Damian and Nicholas when Gabe is kidnapped.

The story took another turn!

Someone from the castle was deceiving them in the name of innocence.

She was there to gain the powers of the Elixir.
A great fight happened. Things change.

Mia was struggling in life and death situation.

What happened next?
Who will get the elixir?
How will the story unfold?
Will the romantic moment between Mia and Vampire King Damian get a happy ending?

What I like!

The story is intriguing, and the language is lucid. I found the story chilling with the interaction of humans and vampires instead of a horror one.
But some bizarre scenes have thrilling vibes. The suspense is well maintained. I’m waiting for the next book by the Author Sukriti Jaswal.

Recommended To

I recommend this book to fictional and suspense story lovers looking for a new story to lighten their mood or dive into another world.

This book is a delightful and engaging romantic love story set against the backdrop of engineering college days. It took me on the journey of my Engineering days and college life.

You and the rest of the world by Ansar Hussain (Romance Novel)

The story revolves around how Aryan fell in love with Haritha. And soon, he started listening to the rumor of the proposal Haritha got in the past from Manish. The book is full of twists.

Set in the engineering college time, the dreams of boys, how they consider girls, why only beautiful girls, the blossom of one-sided love, and much more.

The conversational dialogue exchanges between the students make it more realistic, relatable, full of fun, and romantic.

The facts, romantic thoughts, humor, conversations, bits of young love, thoughts about girls, and the unwanted study issues faced by students & backbenchers are inserted as part of real life, making it relatable and heartfelt.

The writing style effortlessly brings the characters and their experiences to life, where we can connect. Although the book is fictional, you’ll realize everything happens in real life.

There is surety of one thing: humor blended after or in every serious incident to make it amazing. I found it heart-touching, portraying several emotions and experiences together. This makes it different from other romance novels.

One moment, he feels everything is so beautiful. The next moment, his friends warn him to stay out of love.

Why are so many friends involved in this story? Meghna often suggests to Aryan that he should block Haritha, but why? Who is She?

Will Aryan be able to make Haritha accept his proposal, or will he even lose their friendship with her?

If you’re looking for a light-hearted and enjoyable read that takes you back to your college days and memories of your love life, this book is worth picking up. Thanks to the Author for making it so much interesting.

You can get the book from here or from Amazon.

Have you ever wondered how life and habits change from childhood to adulthood?

How does your continuous juggling and thinking mode stop you from taking responsibilities and actions and blaming society or others for everything? That, too for your survival mode and existence.

Book: Vagabond: Glimpses of Love for the Tramp.
Author: Lancy Chopra
Pages: 74

Book Review by Monika Singh

People are often trapped in foggy images and find it hard to digest their reality. People figure out the fault in thinking of others instead of looking within themselves.

"Vagabond: Glimpses of Love for the Tramp" by Lancy Chopra is a poignant and deeply moving exploration of love, loss, and self-discovery. Through the eyes of the book's titular tramp, we are taken on a journey of love, heartbreak, identity, society, and redemption as the narrator wanders the streets and alleys of the city, searching for meaning, connection, and reality.

Society and its beliefs give more relief instead of facing reality. Because it's easier to point fingers at society and blame it for everything, even when no one is questioning you, Vagabond is all about shaking these beliefs and energy. The words can pierce your inner self with compassion and honesty, which you continuously try to ignore. The message of hope and redemption will stay with readers long after they've turned the final page.

At its core, "Vagabond" is a book about the transformative power of love and how people look at life. The narration can touch even the deepest wounds.

Vagabond by Lancy Chopra
The Author has done a fantastic job of highlighting the inner voice. Though it is fictional, you can relate it to real life. The narration is lucrative and evocative, painting vivid pictures of the tramp's experiences and the world around us. The characters she encounters are richly drawn, with their perspective, struggles, and interactions with people both heartwarming and heartbreaking.

Overall, "Vagabond: Glimpses of Love for the Tramp" is a beautifully written and profoundly moving short book that will touch the hearts of all who read it.

It is highly recommended for anyone looking for a quick read about love, loss, and the power of the human spirit.

Some insights from the Book

Courage is breaking because I'm on my way to the point of disembarkation that's unknown.

My feet are tired of carrying my own burden. No doctor is needed, nor it is likely that my muscle power is waning. I am medically fit, but still, my body is tired. Perhaps my mind is more tired than my body.

The energy of my mind is not strong enough to do something. I am walking on an obscure path; Why? Maybe on my own quest? No. I am walking not to find but to renounce. I want to lose that existence which has no logic. I want to lose that routine which has no purpose. I used to keep myself in the stylish shoes of successful celebrities, but today I realized how hollow I am from the inside.

Insight from the Book: Vagabond by Lancy Chopra, Image by Monika Singh

What is more empty than a walled closet without furniture?
I am asking this question from the ocean of feelings within me. I am afraid of the noise of the waves rising inside me because there is so much storm in the sea, but not even two drops of satisfying water can quench my thirst. I am finding it as difficult to find an answer to a question in the turmoil of my emotions as it is to get an old buried needle out of a pile of dry hay. My soul is getting my vagabond from my body, and due to thinking and not finding any path, I am wandering in wanderings.

Although I don't talk much, that doesn't signify I don't value people's sentiments and disregard them. Yes, I have acknowledged and respected the value of time, but hearing individuals' feelings has consistently been part of my assigned position perhaps that's why people believe me honorable of respectful. I was never proud of this attribute, but I used to be satisfied that due to my closemouthed nature, people connected to me in any manner have never been troubled or disturbed - this sense of satisfaction was the only value of my being happy, but today this prideful unless is quivering from its place.

It is well known -that the excess of everything leads you towards destruction. In me, too, my extreme earmark-reserved nature had reached the limit. I used to think that I consistently articulated firmly but politely and never got infuriated. Maybe that's why people love and respect me, but this illusion has also shattered.

These women are so sensitive and poignant, and we consider their emotions as obstacles that come in the way of the momentum of our work. There is no other feeling in the world of these women other than caring for the residents and all the representatives in it. The strangest pleasure in life - caring for someone.

If our population also learns something from our ladies, if it keeps the same affection for the surrounding citizens, then the development of our native structure will increase two hundred times.

Have you ever read books that are based in a future time? Like which predicts what is going to happen in the upcoming years. If yes, you might find this post exciting. But if not, then it is beautiful. And you can try this post for the reading taste.

Features and details of the book!
Book Title: 2034
Author Name: Bruno Beaches
Format: Kindle, Paperback

Book 2034 by Bruno Beaches

Book Review by Monika

In the narration of the story, there is another narrator. Samantha - the Queen of Storytelling, who is in her mid-40s. She was a teacher in her young days. Almost the whole society, the people who have been living there for nearly ten years now, trust each other because of the shared hardship and much more. It is the evening time & she is going to tell a story to the kids, as the parents of these kids believe in the integrity of Samantha.

This story is set in the future time, and it is about 2034. 2034 means the year 2034, 12 years ahead of 2022. Including the description of mid-years. Like 2023, 2024, and 2034. It also describes what happened in the quarantine, situations of humans & society, unwanted chemical effects, the sudden changes it brought, etc.

This story is full of suspense, mystery, and unbelievable worries, describing how artificial food is now a vital need and why it is essential to maintain social distancing. There are driverless vehicles and destruction. Human life is now dependent on chemicals to save itself from chemicals. They are now in a cage, but they can do whatever they want inside it. What an irony life plays. Is it not?

Secure zones are created so that people can save their lives. No additional help of extra & essential facilities is there. People are trying to build other communities in the woods and wild, and much more is there.

The story of this book revolves around the destruction, how natural life is adversely affected, and how the life of several human beings is in danger.

What I like: I appreciate the author's efforts in the narration style, for imagination, and how wonderfully he crafted the story of destruction in 2034.

Triggered Emotions: I would not like to say anything about the story plot because deep involvement can affect someone badly. Like, If you are already depressed or cannot stand up to the stories of vast destruction, I can not recommend this. But this does not mean that you can not read it. Thanks for understanding!

Recommended: If you like thrillers or mysteries related to destruction, you can go for it.

If you love it, feel free to share it with those who love to read mystery & thriller stories. Thank you for stopping by! Let me know something interesting you have found in this blog post in the comments.

Book Title: The Curse of Kukkutarma

Author: Prateep Roy

Genre: Science fiction + Mythology

Book Review

The Curse of Kukkutarma

The story starts with - punishing the students of class 10 by a harsh nature teacher. The reason behind punishment is that someone splits the ink on the Shirt of a simple & humble teacher. But such brutal punishment was prohibited in the school.

The school principal was passing nearby, and he observed the teacher punishing the Kid. He asked him to stop it.

Later, Principal Mr. Brown asked the little boy about his introduction. He introduced himself as Opamanyu Sen. His mother called him Opu with Love. He is from 6th standard, but he was in the 10th class, as he was aware of what teachers were teaching in 6th standard.

When he visited his home, her mother Observed his hand was severely hurt, and she asked him about the reasons. His father, Mr. Dwarkanath, was a trustee of that school. And he said to stop funding the school.

Suddenly, Mr. Father Brown visited their home and informed his Dad that they had suspended that teacher for such Karma. Along with it, he told his parents that their son was Prodigy. He has extraordinary skills. His mind is sharp and ahead of the children of his age.

How Emotion People and Success Fooled You by Monika Singh

The discussion continued, and he asked them to reflect on his studies and take suggestions from Jagdish Chandra Bose (1st Indian Scientist who got a Patent).

Later, he was sent to London for his education. His father now has high expectations like miracles from his son, as everyone in the surroundings was saying he is brilliant & extraordinary.

During that year, World War 1 broke out, affecting many things.

However, Opu met Isla and his brother and tried to execute his ideas and plans with them. This is how they were able to start the preparation of Atityan (a project for a spacecraft model). All three were lost in the project deeply.

This book has a blend of history, mythology, and science fiction, hand in hand. The story plot is based in the 1900s and revolves around the prodigy kid Opu and his brilliant interest in Time traveling.

His dream of inventing the time machine, which can help him to travel back in the past and meet the Bhisma of Mahabharata, and why he died, even when he was blessed by boon.

This led him to take his ideas and interests seriously.

My take on Narration:

The Narration could have been smoother if a lot of details (explanation of ancient history details) could have been provided at the end, instead of starting and in mid of the chapters.

Along with it, as the book is fiction, there is not a more significant role of research done by the Author. However, it's doing great on the research-based part.

What I Like: I like the theme line & blend of history and mythology, along with the prodigy of Opu.

Recommended: If you like books based on science fiction and mythology, you may also like this one.
